What is Health Logistics?

We chose the name Health Logistics because we believe that it’s a good description of what we can provide for you.
There are a lot of meanings for the word ”logistics” but basically it means a plan or system, in this case for attaining health.
In the Cambridge Dictionary, “Logisitics” means “the careful organisation of a complicated activity so that it happens in a successful and effective way.
In a nutshell, it’s a personalised health plan for you.

A lot of people who think about visiting a naturopath aren’t too sure whether they would be seeing the right person to help them.
We know from experience that not everyone wants what we have to offer so we begin our relationship with you by finding out as much as possible about your body.
Only by assessing you in this manner can we determine how much we can help you.
Please be assured that if we can’t fully help you, we will do everything in our power to refer you to someone who can help.

How a Health Logistics Naturopath can help you.

There are many different types of naturopathic treatments and no two naturopaths work in exactly the same way.
For example, some Naturopaths work much like doctors in that they will treat the symptoms you are having right now.
Others work with the body as a whole, complex group of systems that work interdependently. In this way, when you fix one area of the body, other related areas come good without direct help.
We like to work in this way, treating the body as a whole, because it’s no fun to think a symptom has gone away only for it to return later because the cause of the symptom wasn’t fixed.
It’s like taking a pain-killer for a headache but when the drug wears off you get the same headache back again because you haven’t fixed the bad neck, the gut toxicity or the sluggish bowel. There are many reasons why we get headaches and at Health Logistics we like to work out the cause along with getting as quick relief as possible.
